PECO's “Slimline” is a versatile, small footprint divider/diverter/ejector that
employs a continuous flexible rail to divide, divert, eject or sample a broad range
of open or closed, hard or soft walled containers into multiple lanes or a rejection
lane.
The Slimline continuous rail provides the transitional stability of a slat type diverter
with the economy and shorter conveyor length requirements of a push-pad ejector/diverter.
Open containers are divided or ejected smoothly without spillage and, unlike slat
type diverters, broken glass and shattered containers continue to move on the flexible
rail in a jam free operation without damage to the diverter.
The Slimline is engineered to perform continously in harsh environments where high
temperatures and frequent wash downs with harsh solvents are the norm. In contrast
with maintenance intensive slat type diverter/divders, the Slimline has few moving
parts, manufactured of stainless steel and long lived polymers, employs only limited
motion and its sealed pneumatics require no lubrication.
PECO’s Slimline readily interfaces with a wide variety of controllers and inspection
devices. The Slimline reliability, versatility small foot print, ease of set-up and
make it an equally good choice for a new line or a diverter/divider/ejector replacement
or upgrade.
