Standard Measure of Performance for High Speed Filling Lines

PECO’s Quantitative Valv-Chek is the “standard measure of performance” for high speed filling lines. The PECO Quantitative Valv-Chek is so economical that any size operation can afford the benefits of filler valve performance monitoring.

Easy Calibration and Multiple Product Memory Makes for Fast Changeovers

The easy to set-up and calibrate
Quantitative Valv-Chek makes change over as easy as making a product selection on the pull down menu.

Printed Reports and Data Storage

Printed reports can be printed on demand or programmed to print at regular intervals. Data can be automatically saved at regular intervals, making SPC or tracking of performance over time extremely easy.

The User-Friendly Quantitative Valv-Chek System Displays a Wide Range of Statistical Data

System Status Display

The operational status of each system component is displayed on this report as well as current line conditions (rate and production).

Fill Level Distribution

The fill level distribution display presents the degree of dispersion for each valve. The "Sigma" or measure of standard deviation expresses this dispersion factor numerically.

Average Fill Level

The average fill level display shows the relative performance
up to 48 valves.

Display High/Low

The 17 highest and lowest filling valves are continuously displayed on a screen together with each corresponding standard deviation

 Quantitative Valv-Chek 3.0 Remote Display

Optional Remote Display

The Quantitative Valv-Chek monitoring unit is usually positioned at the transfer between filler and seamer or at the seamer/capper discharge with an optional remote display providing continuous data to the operator Including:

Current Product

Average Fill Volume

Containers Per Minute

Total Production Data

Alarm Conditions

Volumetric Measurement Principle

The inspection assembly of the Quantitative Valv-Chek 3.0 consists of a gamma radiation source and receiver. The volume of the container attenuates the radiation signal proportionately. The measured radiation change is translated into a volumetric measure (e.g. milliliters, ounces) based upon values established in
the calibration process.

Safety Considerations and Regulations

All PECO's gamma based systems are designed and manufactured to exceed the requirements of all state and federal safety regulations in countries where they are sold for use in food and beverage inspection applications.
