Ejector-Controller or Stand-Alone Inspection System The versatile PECO Multi-Trac operates as an ejector-controller for removing defective containers from a production line conveyor or as a stand-alone inspection system when combined with proximity, photoelectric, UV or bar code sensors. The Multi-Trac microprocessor based controller unit, keypad, display and back-up battery are mounted in a stainless, wash-down proof NEMA 4 enclosure. 
Six Inputs The PECO Multi-Trac accepts input from up to 4 inspection sensors, an encoder for variable speed conveyors and the inspection “trigger” sensor. In a typical application inspection begins when the leading edge of a container enters the “inspection zone” and ends when the trailing edge exits the zone. Additional Features - Accepts Open Collector or DC Logic Signals
- Signals can be logically related e.g., eject if A, B, or C is open
- Signals can be inverted e.g., normally open versus normally closed
- Ample outputs allow for ejector gate and solenoid, X and Y Alarm plus a “window” for set-up or as a fault indicator
- Easy identification of wiring faults by LED indicator on inputs
- Up to Eight Inspection or Ejection Parameters can be entered, stored, and recalled by keypad and LCD display
