The PECO 326LXPAC is a low profile, wide field, stainless steel housed, Can Proximity Sensor that has been designed to survive in can manufacturing and filling environments. The rugged 304 stainless enclosure and encapsulated electronics insure reliable performance under the most hostile conditions. A harrison quick connector allows the sensor to be easily installed without wiring at the sensor head. The low profile design permits easy mounting without cutting conveyor side rails. An LED is provided for can presence or detection and as an indication that the output is active. The PECO 326LXPAC is compatible with most programmable logic controllers including: Allen-Bradley, General Electric, Gould, Omron, Texas Instruments, Siemens, and others. An extremely low leakage current of less than 900 microamps insures that a clear signal reaches the controller. The PECO 326LXPAC is an all metal sensor suitable for both steel and aluminum can detection from can sizes 202 to 704. Short circuit and thermal overload protection eliminate the most common causes of sensor failure.
